Stuart Hall is a native of central Florida, a 22-year resident of Chicago, and a veteran of the United States Navy.
As a Navy veteran, Stuart was a systems operator aboard the s3a Viking, a carrier-based anti-submarine warfare aircraft. His most significant area of operation was Beirut, Lebanon, 1983-84, flying in direct support of the multinational peacekeeping force off the USS John F. Kennedy.
As a civilian, he busies himself as an artist, activist, and advocate. As an advocate, he participates as a volunteer at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center. As an activist, he was a frequent participant in the Anti-ICE protests at Broadview Detention Facility during Operation Midway Blitz. As an artist, he has been engaged in a 20-year anti-war street art project, fleurs de guerre, the Army of the War Against War.
Stuart maintains his healthcare with the Veterans Administration as a very satisfied client, yet he maintains that healthcare with trepidation.
