About me
Briana Perry (she/her) is a Black Southern feminist with over a decade of movement building experience in racial justice and reproductive justice. Briana comes to this work as a former teacher, as it was during her time teaching that she became involved in local organizing efforts around reproductive health, sexual assault awareness, and racial justice. Briana is a co-founder of a Black Lives Matter chapter a former steering committee member of a feminist collective, and a former advisory committee member of a national bailout collective. Briana has served in executive leadership roles at Healthy and Free Tennessee and briefly worked in the education justice philanthropic sector. Outside of her nonprofit experience, she's a trained birth doula, community mediator, transformative justice facilitator, and Circle keeper.
