Liú (they/them//tā) is a queer, trans non-binary, disabled, and Abolitionist cultural organizer, descended from the islands of Taiwan and Ireland. They are currently the Oral History Programs Manager at the National Public Housing Museum in Chicago. They view storytelling and oral history as key strategies for thawing trauma, empowering connection, and creating radical change. Their personal work focuses on anti-imperialism, queer/trans liberation, the heterogeneity of Asian and Asian/American identities, Black/Asian coalition movements, and the textures of silence and absence.
