In this workshop, the speaker will discuss how developing community book clubs help individuals of diverse backgrounds and experiences to understand dense or otherwise intellectually inaccessible theory by tackling work in a collective manner. This will lead to a deepening understanding of one's own politic, and will help develop their niche in organizing and community praxis. The group can also act as a method of circular accountability.
